Heart In Virgina

I came across a female blogger's article, and she said that a woman's heart is in her vagina. She went on to explain that when she's sexually involved with a man, she tend to feel "in love" with him. The better he is in bed, the more "in love" she thinks she is. When she stopped being sexually involved with him, she realized that he is not her prince charming.

I don't know if this theory is applicable for all women. but if this is true, then it will just be a matter of time that my 亲爱的 will stop loving me. My new job doesn't allow me to travel to China, therefore I won't be able to sextify her regularly.

Since I'm not taking any chance, I will go to Beijing after my Bangkok meeting next week. I plan to stay with her for 5 days, and hopefully we can do 3 times a day, so in total we're going to do 15 times. This should be able to keep her heart in her virgina happy for a while, until my next trip.

A New Chapter

It has been a few weeks I've not blogged. I started my new job at the beginning of this month, and I can hardly find time to update this blog. It is still a regional sales job, except that the company doesn't require me to visit China. A friend said to me that I should take this opportunity to break off with my 亲爱的. What's the purpose of keeping a long distance relationship? I should just find a Thai girlfriend instead. Well, I am still very much in love with her and I don't think it is time yet. I still want to convince her to study in Singapore.

Although I was really busy since I started work, without fail I still called her over the phone　everyday. She said she missed me, and hope that we can meet up soon. The last time I met my　亲爱的　about a month ago in Bangkok. Since I have another trip to Bangkok in 2 weeks time, i will probably arrange for her to meet me in Bangkok again. She's not really impressed with Bangkok. She doesn't like the food, and the weather. At least the food in MK is still edible for her. I promised her that sex will make up for everything else.

Steven Chan and His China Mistress

Steven Chan, 48 years old, is my colleague who lives in Hong Kong. He joined my company sometime in January this year. When Steven showed up, he was carrying a 6 months old baby girl. He introduced her as his daugther, with a big smile on his face. Well, Steven doesn't have any children in Hong Kong, so it must be a China production. His girlfriend is from Hunan, living in Beijing. It was an accidental pregancy. When they first discovered that she was pregnant, they hesitated whether to keep the baby. Since his girlfriend is already in her late 20s, they decided to keep it. Steven wasn't too positive about having a baby at that time, and thought that it would be a nightmare. I can't blame him. He didn't know the joy of being a father. Since his daughter was born, it was only happiness and excitement for them. Steven said that because of the baby, his relationship with his girlfriend is closer than before. I asked a realistic question: how much allowance is she getting every month? For being a fulltime mother, she receives a monthly allowance of RMB10,000. Since Steven has an apartment in Beijing, she is staying there and there is no rental expenses. How did he answer to her parents? Since her family lives in the countryside, her parents are simple people. He gave them money to refurbish the house, and that has settled the old folks.

Of course Steven's wife doesn't know about it. I don't know how long he is able to keep this secret, but eventually she will find out. Hong Kong women are not stupid, but since it is not uncommon for Hong Kong men to have China mistresses, maybe she will just have to accept the fact.

亲爱的,　after knowing Steven's little secret, was also tempted to have a baby with me. Well, she knows that this thought is immpossible for 2 reasons. First, her parents are not farmers and they would not approve her to do such things, even if I were to give them money. Second, I already have children, so I won't be excited about our baby.

A New Journey

Two weeks ago, I was in Bangkok with my 亲爱的, and I broke her the news that I am going to quit my current job, and move on to a new job. It is still a regional sales role, except that I won't be covering Greater China region. We may not be able to see each other monthly, but I assured her that we will still see each other　at least 2 months once. She felt sad, and said "听到这个消息，我突然觉得很冷清" Honestly, I don't know if this is going to hurt our relationship, and only time can tell. Anyhow, The new job offers better pay, so I suggested to her if she wants to come over to Singapore to study, and I can support her financially. 亲爱的 said she would need some time to consider, as she needs to seek her parents approval. To lighten up things, I promised her that we will have another rendezvous in Chengdu before I start work. However, I just received an email from my new employer that I need to go for new hire training in October, so there isn't any holiday break for me. Looks like I will have to arrange our Chengdu trip again. I hope she's not going to feel sad when I break her the news.

The Perfect Smile

I have promised my 亲爱的 she's going for teeth whitening treatment in Bangkok for her 23rd birthday. Yesterday, we arrived Bangkok in the morning, and after we checked into the Westin Grande Sukhumvit, immediately we took the sky train to Saladaeng station. The treatment is called Zoom! First, her teeth needs to be scaled and polished. I can't believe that this is the first time that she's doing that because when she saw the dental instruments, she behaved like a kid and insisted that I shouldn't leave the room. 亲爱的 said she doesn't visit the dentist unless she has a toothache.



After 15 minutes of scaling and polishing, 亲爱的 is ready for Zoom! It looks like her face is blasted with a ball of laser.



The procedure actually goes like this. Her mouth is first covered by a rubber mould to protect her gums and lips, and to ensure that her teeth are exposed at all times. Zoom whitening gel is then placed on her teeth, followed by 15 minutes of zoom light. She did this for 3 times, so the entire process is about 45 minute

There is a slight improvement with the color shading. From now on, she's going to show off her white teeth to her friends. Doing Zoom! has side effect. After the treatment is done, she felt painful in her teeth. The tingling sensation lasted for the rest of the day.

ZTE MF636 3G Modem on Windows 7

I've just replaced my 3 years old Toshiba laptop with the Lenovo X201, and it was pre-installed with Windows 7 by my IT department. The first thing that came to my mind is to set up the 3G modem. Whenever I travel, I need to get internet access to work on my emails, and free Wi-Fi is not available everywhere. I am using a ZTE MF636, purchased from China.



After a few tries, it looks like the device driver doesn't support Windows 7. I uninstalled everything, copied the setup files into my local hard disk, right clicked on setup.exe and select properties, configure the compatiblity mode to Windows Vista SP1, run setup again. This solves my problem. Now that I can get access to internet again, it's time to give a call to my 亲爱的. She's probably still in bed, although it's already 3pm.

Happy 23 Birthday

亲爱的 and I were in Shanghai last week to celebrate her 23 birthday. We stayed at the Royal Le Meridien Hotel, at the Nanjing East Road, which is the "Walking Street". Although it was 40 degrees during the day, there were still a lot of people out in the street.



Being a Sichuanese, 亲爱的 couldn't take the heat. Instead, we stayed in the hotel with the air conditioning set at 19 degrees, and slept throughout the day.



Did we go to the Shanghai World Expo? This was the closst experience to the expo.



On her birthday, I told her that we should go out to get dinner. At 7pm, she started to make herself pretty.



亲爱的 didn't expect a lavish dinner for her birthday. Near the hotel, there was a Chongqing 公鸡堡 restaurant, and we ordered spicy chicken hotpot.





We bought a cake at the confectionary near the hotel. Back to the room, I prepared the cake, lit the candles, and 亲爱的 made her 23rd birthday wish. It was a long wish, 1 minute long.





She cut the cake, and we ate half of the cake. The other half was leftover for breakfast the next morning.





I didn't have any presents for her. Her presents would come later during our next Bangkok trip. 亲爱的 received several phone calls from her cousins and friends. She also called home to speak to her mum.



Honestly, it was really a boring week in Shanghai, but 亲爱的 didn't mind at all. She only wanted me to be by her side, after all we are already 老夫老妻.

Foreplay

We'll proababy spend just half a day visitng the pavilions, and the rest of the time in the hotel room making love. After all, it's her birthday so she deserves it.

非诚勿扰

I feel that I am becoming more and more Chinese. I love the hot and spicy Sichuan hotpot, the burning spicy Wuhan duck neck and feet, enjoy Chinese songs like 爱情买卖, 星月神话, and lately I've been addicted to the dating game show 非诚勿扰. This show is a production of the Jiangsu TV, and it's probably the most watched game show in China. Other than keeping myself entertained, I also learnt from this game show that not all Chinese girls are materialistic. They do not expect the 5Cs (Cash, Car, Condo, Credit Card, Country Club membership) from their boyfriends, as compared to their Singapore counterpart. These girls are mostly in their 20s, and are quite good looking. Maybe they realized that there is an imbalance ratio of men and women, they are very choosy in selecting the right guy to pair up. It is not money that they're going after. Even when the guy is only earning RMB1,500 per month, if she feels that he has a good character, she would pair up with him. I wonder how many couples actually continue to date after the game show.

Singapore Tourist Visa

亲爱的's birthday is coming, and we're going to celebrate her birthday in Bangkok. My plan is to arrange for her to come to Singapore to stopover for 2 days, and then proceed to Bangkok for another 6 days. Since Thailand allows visa on arrival for Chinese citizens, she would only need to take care of the Singapore visa. 亲爱的 is a simple girl, and she's afraid of complications. Last year, she applied the Thailand Visa herself, which is supposedly a great task for her. Since I could actually apply an e-visa on her behalf from the Singapore Immigration and Customs Authority, she would rather I do it for her, then she do it herself at the Singapore Embassy in Beijing.

Maybe she's not so lucky after all. I received this acknowledgment from the ICA.



Now that she cannot come to Singapore, we'll have to change our plans. We'll postpone our Bangkok trip to September, and she can go to the Thailand embassy in Beijing to apply for the tourist visa. I still have to see her this month. Maybe we'll meet in Xiamen instead.

拜金女

拜金女 means Material Girl. With a average monthly salary of just 2,000 yuan, most girls living in Beijing won't be able to live a luxurious lifestyle. After deducting necessities like food, lodging, transportation, there is only a few hundred yuan left. It's certainly not enough to buy the Chanel No. 5, or the iPhone 4.

亲爱的 used to work as an office administrator when I first dated her. Her salary was about 1,800 yuan and at that time she did not stay with her aunt, but shared an apartment with her colleagues. She paid 800 yuan a month for the apartment. She realized that it was a waste of her time, so she quit the job, joined her aunt in the business, and move in to stay with her. I think this is more practical as she's just wasting her time if she were to continue working as an office administrator. 亲爱的 is earning about 4,000 yuan a month now. Not bad for a 22 years old girl in Beijing.

There are girls that can tolerate a simple lifestyle, but there are also others who are materialistic, and they would find other means to achieve their dreams. Having a rich husband is the ultimate way, but how by the time the guy is a high income earner, he's probably married. It would be easier for these girls to be mistresses for one or more men. My last trip to Beijing was the 3rd week of May, and it's about time to pay a visit to my 亲爱的 again. 亲爱的　said that it is not necessary to visit her every month, especially when I am busy with my work. Double Eyelid Surgery

Like most Asians, my 亲爱的 have small teeny weeny eyes. She is born with a single lid appearance, but always prefer the features of a double eyelid. Of course double eyelid can result in having attractive eyes and bigger eyes.

I've done some research on double eyelid surgery, and found that there are 2 main techniques for double eyelid surgery, stitching or cutting techniques. Stitching techniques make use of minimally invasive procedure to secure the eyelid skin to the tarsal plate, hence creating a crease in the skin. Cutting techniques rely on fat, muscle and skin removal in order to create an anatomical defect which causes the eyelid fold to become more apparent. I would prefer the stitching method, since it is less bloody, faster recovery, and reversible. The downside is that the eyelid fold is not going to be permanent.

Since we'll be going to Bangkok for her birthday in August, it will be nice if she can get her double eyelid surgery over there. Meanwhile, I'm checking witht the hospitals if they can do stitching method, and the price they charge.

Teeth Whitening

亲爱的 felt that her teeth is yellowish and unsightly, so she hope to go for teeth whitening treatment. I did Brite Smile a few years ago, and it was quite effective, so for her birthday present this year, I like to bring her to Bangkok for teeth whitening treatment. I did some research in the internet, and looks like Brite Smile is not the only treatment, and there is also Zoom! Both treatment is quite similar. Hydrogen Peroxide gel first applied on the teeth, and followed by shining a light directly on the teeth for about an hour.

I did some comparison and finally located the dental clinic that offer the cheapest treatment in Bangkok, the Perfect Smile Dental Clinic, that charges 9,000 Baht for Zoom! Teeth Whitening

I have to start planning for her birthday trip to Bangkok soon.

I received an SMS from 亲爱的 yesterday evening. She said

I missed her too, and so I managed to find some time to return call to her this evening. Guess what? She was playing mahjong and I could hear the tiles, so we only had a few words. At least she knows how to keep herself occupied when I couldn't spend time with her.

Family Ties

Since 亲爱的 is staying with her Grandma (mum's mum), Aunt (mum's younger sister), and Uncle (mum's younger bro) in Beijing, for courtesy sake I would meet her Uncle and Aunt for dinner whenever I am in Beijing to see her. 亲爱的 is still not ready for me to meet her Grandma and her Mum. Last week, she thought that she would like to bring me back to her hometown in Chengdu during Chinese New Year. Her Mum has been asking about me, and she's quite stress about it. She felt that her Mum would be ok, but not her Dad. She thought that her Dad wouldn't be able to accept me due to our age difference. She wants me to look younger, so that she could tell her parents that I am in my mid 30s. To do that, first I would need to go on a diet, to shed off many kilos. Next, I need to make a toupee to have more hair on my head. I've got only 7 months to do a makeover of myself. Anyone care to help me?

A Good Lover

亲爱的 and I are together for more than 2 years, and our sex life is superb. I never get tired of screwing her. Everytime we are together, we have to make love. This is probably the important part that is keeping the relationship going. I don't deny that age is catching up with me, but at least I know how to make her feel great during sex. Farewell Xiamen

As usual, 亲爱的 flew into Xiamen to spend the week with me. We usually stay at the Sheraton Hotel. I think by now, the hotel staff would remember this Singapore man and his young chinese girlfriend.



The reason why we like the Sheraton is because the location is very convenient. At the side of the hotel, we can find many shops and restaurants. These shops are not expensive, and since 亲爱的 is a thrifty person, she likes to do her shopping there.



In fact she bought me a wallet for my belated birthday in one of the shops.



We like 火锅 very much, and there is a very good 火锅 restaurent, which uses beef bones to broil the soup.



亲爱的 and I love to eat street food. There is a barbeque stall which operates from evening till late, and is our favourite supper place. Although it doesn't look too hygenic, we didn't get any tummy ache after eating there.





亲爱的 went to the hair salon to have her hair dyed. While it cost less than in Beijing, she complaint that the colour is not nice.




At the opposite of Sheraton, there is a foot massage center. We have been there once. The service is quite good, and not expensive.



Since I need to work during the day, she have to keep herself occupied with the computer or the mobile phone.



Although I have been to Xiamen numerous times, this could be my last visit there. I have just done a 3rd interview with a company, and stand a good chance to join them. While this job is also a regional position, I may not be able to travel to China as frequent. I had discussed this with 亲爱的, and she said as long as we talk over the phone everyday, it is alright that we see each other less frequent. Well, I don't really know if this long distance relationship can continue to work after I change company. Only time will tell.

STRESS!!!

This is really a tough quarter. There is so much pressure to deliver numbers, and I am completely knocked out. I need to take a break from my work and spend some precious moments with my 亲爱的．

Thanks to Jack Neo's affair, I actually learned a Chinese phrase 老牛吃嫩草. A direct translation would be "old cow eats delicate grass". It is actually referring to men above 40 years old who date young girls in their early 20s, and I could possibly fall into this category. What is wrong with old cows eating delicate grass? Whether the cows are young or old, big or small, fat or thin, they all love delicate grass, so don't stereotype old cows! Did a search in Google and found this interesting article about old cows.

中年男人是井，有的井里是甘泉，有的井里是浊水，有的只是一口枯井。还有的，什么都没有，干脆就是一口陷阱。年轻女孩子不会想这些，想到了也自信青 春无敌所向披靡。不过谁知道呢，现在的女孩子都生猛得很，她偏要下去试试这井有多深。同龄的小伙子，刚刚步入社会，地位、金钱、阅历、经验等都很少，有时 候难以已引起少女的倾心和爱慕。这些都是导致 “老牛喜欢吃嫩草，嫩草也能接受老牛” 主要原因，其他原因还很多，这里就不讨论了。这种现象也包含了部分“嫩草”的恋父情结和“老牛”的处女情结。

That Stupid iPhone

I realized that ever since I bought an iPhone for my 亲爱的，it has been appearing in most of her photos. 亲爱的 doesn't have too many phone calls, so actually there is no need for her to hold on to the phone while she's being photographed. The only reason why she's still holding on to that stupid iPhone is to use that as a mirror to make sure that she's getting her best shots. She didn't realize that it is an eye sore. I hope she's not going to find out about the iPad soon, as it should make a good make-up mirror too.

West Lake of Hangzhou

West Lake Hangzhou is located in the western area of Hangzhou City's historic center. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with an area of around 6.5 square kilometers. The circumference is around 15 kilometers. West Lake is not only famous for its picturesque landscape, it is also associated with many scholars, national heroes and revolutionary martyrs, thus embracing many aspects of Chinese culture. In addition, many ancient buildings, stone caves and engraved tablets in surrounding areas are among the most cherished national treasures of China, with significant artistic value.

亲爱的 and I are not artistic by nature, but since we heard so much about it, we decided to check it out the famous West Lake while we were in Hangzhou. Actually it wasn't a big deal about West Lake. Maybe it was the wrong time of the season..everything looked so grey.
