Tour Guide

Last week me and my 亲爱的 visited the 恭王府 as we have nothing better to do after morning sex. This place was orginally constructed for 和珅 during the Qianlong reign in the late Qing Dynasty. If you've watched enough Chinese TV series, you'll probably know who this person was. When we were there, we saw a few tour guides bringing groups of toursits into the Prince Gong's mansion. We decided to join in one of the groups, so that we can get some good explanation of this historical site. 亲爱的 thought that maybe she would also like to be a tour guide as the job seems very interesting. Right now, she's working as a typist in a small local firm. My 亲爱的 actually quit from her massuer job 4 months ago after the police started to clean up Beijing for the Olympics Games. Through her Aunt's boyfriend recommendation, she found this boring job. Well, I told her, if she's keen to be a tour guide, she has to be confident in herself in order to become one. A tour guide requires leadership skills in order to manage the tour group. So I promise her that I will check out with my contacts if they have any lobangs or knowledge with this career. When I spoke to her yesterday regarding this, she said that her friend commented that she's not suitable to become one, so she will drop this idea. I think that's bullshit. Thanks for being a pessimistic friend. This morning, I searched the web and found a tour guide training school in Beijing. I copied the phone number and gave to my 亲爱的 today. I told her to call up this number and enquire. At least she should ask the school the various courses that they offer, whether they will also help the students to find jobs in tour agencies, and the expected pay package as a tour guide. After hearing this, 亲爱的 said 这么麻烦,还是不打了。Well, I told her that making the phone call doesn't take too much time. At least she will get a good perspective from the consultant. She promised that she will make the call tomorrow. Let's see .......
