Long Distance Call

I've been on the phone 20 minutes everyday with 亲爱的 since I returned from Beijing. Although i used Singtel 019 service for our conversation, still 23 cents per minute, and that works out to be $5 per day. Being a tech savvy geek, I decided to set up SIP on my Nokia N96. I am a user of Starhub's Pfingo for a year, and usually used that to call home when I am on the road. I did some reading and found that I can also set up SIP using Pfingo service on my mobile phone, and whenever my phone has access to WLAN, I can call internationally through Pfingo service. Calling to China is only 2 cents per minute. Wow, that is huge savings. Accessing WLAN is not difficult in Singapore even when I am not at home as there are free hotspots like Wireless@SG, Macdonald's, Starbucks, etc. Finally I did my first SIP call to my 亲爱的 on my N96 after 2 hours of R&D on a quiet Saturday afternoon...
