Loving An Innocent Girl

Was browsing a Chinese forum, and found this interesting post: 10 rules to love an innocent girl. I'm not saying that my 亲爱的 is really that innocent, but somehow I sensed similarity here.

喜欢一个单纯的女孩你必须学会以下十条，切记！

1、每天的电视连戏剧，无论如何要放她回家看电视。
She loves TV. Watch literally anything.

2、千万不要老是问她一个她回答不出来的问题，她会很烦。
When she doesn't like me to probe further, she'll tell me 不要问啦! with the 郁闷 look.

3、她喜欢做的事情要鼓励她，不要说伤她自信的话。
I've not used negative words on her before.

4、不要说谎骗她，即使要骗她也不能让她知道。实际上她只在乎是不是真实的，而不是非的甜言蜜语。
True, she doesn't like me to tell lies, so I have to tell her the truth that she has ugly fingers.

5、不要给她讲大道理，要用实际的事情给她说明。
I don't know, I'm not a philosophical person.

6、不要说大话，也不要随意诺言！更不要失约。
She hate people with empty promises. I have not failed her on this.

7、要学会半夜接到她的电话，虽然也许就是因为睡不着，或是一件没有想明白的事情。
She's not that unreasonable, so this point is not applicable.

8、要学会看她写的日志，因为她会告诉你她是才女,写的是‘散文’，就是那种形散神也散的文章。
Yes, she posts articles in her QQ blog, which I can hardly understand.

9、要学会和她交流的方式，当有可能要矛盾的时候，大可转换话题。
Very true, if we continue discussion, things can get very bad, and she'll stop talking to me for hours or days.

10、多习惯和小朋友们交流，你会更多的发现她在想什么，而且容易找到一些话题。
Not true, my 亲爱的 is quite matured in her thinking.

有时候我也会想，为什么会喜欢这样一个单纯的女孩？让我如此痛，并快乐着。
