My Birthday Is Coming

My 亲爱的 said that she wants to celebrate my birthday this year. In fact, she has already bought a gift for me, something that I wouldn't be able to guess. Since I have no reason to go to Beijing, I asked her if we can meet in Shanghai instead. I can arrange a few meetings in Shanghai, and she could join me there. My 亲爱的 is quite a thrifty person, and she felt that it is a waste of money for her to do a round trip between Beijing and Shanghai, even though I offer to pay for it. I also suggested that we stay in a service apartment, so that she can cook for me on my birthday. I have not tried her cooking before, but she claimed that she's good in 四川菜. She has not decided yet, but will give me an answser soon. Meanwhile, she plans to do up her hair and buy new dresses before the day comes. I'm so excited to see her again.
