Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is the most important festival for the Chinese people, and usually family members living away from home go back to celebrate with the love ones. In Singapore, we called it the Chinese New Year, which falls on the 1st day of the Lunar Calender. 亲爱的 is not going home for Chinese New Year, since she has just returned to Chengdu last month for her cousin's wedding. Her 外婆, 小姨 and 舅舅 are in living Beijing, so she's going to have the reunion dinner with them instead. Unfortunately, Valentine's day is on the 1st day of Chinese New Year, so I won't be able to celebrate Valentine's day with her. I am planning to make a trip to Beijing, maybe in the 5th or 6th day of Chinese New Year, and we can have our post Valentine's dinner together.
